This is an introductory class about how to overcome your fears and safely shoot a handgun. If you’re interested in obtaining your concealed handgun permit in the future or just curious about shooting, this is an opportunity to do so in a safe environment with a trained instructor. This class will cover everything from how to safely handle a pistol, proper stance and grip and answer all your questions about shooting. The classroom portion will be approx. 2-3 hrs, then we will conclude at  a shooting range where you can apply these new skills. You do not need to own a handgun to attend this class, everything will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own handgun but we ask that the gun be empty with the slide locked to the rear when you enter the building. The shooting session is at an outdoor range, so proper attire is required (closed toe shoes, long pants)

Your instructor is RICK ROJAS, owner and head coach of Carolina Gun Coach in Huntersville. Rick is a 34 year veteran of law enforcement, a police instructor, NC certified Concealed Handgun Permit instructor and a NRA certified Firearms Instructor.  

Rick also happens to be husband of North Director and fellow sister Tammy Rojas.
